Endura nonwoven wipes are a low cost alternative to Sontara

Y-pers carries a lower cost alternative to Sontara® that is made of equally as strong material and fibers. But before we get into the application of Sontara, we want to explain why the Sontara name is so commonly used. The term Sontara® is a trademarked item by the Jacob Holm Company. Sontara® is used similarly to the way that tissues are called Kleenex®, When you ask for a Kleenex®, everyone knows you are asking for a tissue. Similarly, when you ask for Sontara®, you are really just asking for a disposable paper wipe.

Our material is made of a 55% Spunlace Cellulose and 45% Woodpulp Polyester Fiber Blend. We call our brand Endura. Our Endura wipes offer the same physical characterizes and performance to Sontara® at a fraction of the cost. Some advantages to using Endura wipes are:

1. Nonwoven wiper that has incredible wet strength, meaning it will not fall apart or disintegrate when used with many chemicals and cleaners (such as isopropyl alcohol)
2. Each wipe will be exactly the same, so you don’t have to guess or be surprised when you pull a new wipe out a box.
3. Made in the USA – this product is converted in Philadelphia, PA
4. Extremely low linting – while nothing is “lint free”, these wipes are super low linting and even have a COA and COC
5. Soft and won’t scratch – our Endura wipes are super soft and yet have a high strength, so they are soft enough to wipe down glass surfaces and optical lenses, yet strong enough not to break down or fall apart
