Oil & Gas Delivery
The oil and gas delivery industry is the one of the most demanding industries around. It doesn’t matter what the weather is or the time of year, oil and gas delivery is an essential part of our countries business. That is why we have the best oil absorbent pads and supplies on the market (and most knowledge) when it comes to the products needed for oil and gas delivery.
Because oils and gas are slippery and dirty they are some of the toughest liquids. Therefore having the right oil and chemical resistant gloves for your work is key. Our oil hauler glove series, which are manufactured with a double dip PVC outer layer that resists slick oil and gas has an 2.5” open safety cuff on and off access. The same gloves are also available with a foam lining to keep your hands warm during the winter months. Additionally, we carry a nitrile version of these gloves. These gloves have a nitrile coating on the outside with either a rough finish or smooth finish.
While we hate to hear it, there are always leaks, drips and spills when dealing with oil and gas. For times where those situations arise, you need absorbent pads. Our oil absorbent pads come in 3 styles, oil only, oil and water and then hazmat. The oil only absorbent pads and rolls are white and will only absorb oil and gasoline and repel water. Our oil and water absorbent pads and rolls are grey and absorb oil, gasoline and water. Our hazmat absorbent pads and rolls are either yellow or green and are used for the most aggressive chemicals on the market. Lastly, and probably the most important thing to carry on the trucks are emergency trucker spill kits. These spill kits contain, pads, socks, nitrile gloves, zip tie, disposable bag and we designed one that can right inside a truck.
Finally, it is important to be seen when making oil and gas deliveries. A lot of times, these deliveries are made in busy parking lots, gas stations or on the side of the road so it is important to be seen. Always wearing a safety vest can ensure this! Safety vests for road use should be either Class 2 (SV2CL2MLZ) or Class 3 Vests (SWCCL3L). Class 2 vests have a minimum of 201 square inches of reflective tape while Class 3 vests have a minimum of 310 square inches of reflective tape. All of our hi visibility vests are available in lime or orange. Additionally, we carry a line of hi visibility jackets and sweatshirts for the months and night when it is colder and you want to stay warm and seen.
