Going Green – Recycled Safety Vest for Hi-Visibility Work Spaces.

Hi-Vis Safety Vests help protect workers and the environment.

Repurposing waste such as plastic bottles is a great way for your company to go green! With new improvements in manufacturing, we started to produce recycled safety vests. These vests do not cost much more than normal vests, but they do a huge part in saving our planet!

Each one of our safety vests is made out of 10 recycled water bottles. While we one day hope to sell enough safety vests to repurpose all the plastic bottles, we know we have to start small.

Here are our safety vest styles that are made with recycled materials:

Recycled Hi-Visibility Safety Vest – This class 2 vest is your basic safety vest, with 3 pockets and a zipper front, it is great for everything from warehouse work to trash pick-up to construction sites.

Recycled Surveyor Style Safety Vest – this Class 2 safety vest is made of mesh and has 6(!) pockets. Additionally, it has a zipper front and a mic-tab holder on the front left shoulder.

5-Point Breakaway Recycled Safety Vest – This Class 2 Vest has 5 points that will break tear away if the vest becomes caught or snagged on a moving object, such as a car, train, or machine. These safety vests are great for manufacturing sites, airport facilities and production lines.

In addition to recycled safety vests, we also recently developed a line of environmentally friendly safety gloves called Ingenia™. The gloves are made from a production line and factory that require 30% less energy than the production line of an equal amount of nylon. Additionally, these gloves minimize greenhouse emissions by as much as 60% of CO2 compared to the production of other nylon glove.

But these gloves aren’t just better made to be better for the environment, they also provide great griping strength with their New Foam Technology coating and breathability. Also these gloves are treated with ActiFresh, which helps prevent odors and eliminates bacteria caused by perspiration.
