What to consider when customizing your safety vest:

There are many things to consider when making a custom safety vest. Here are some of the things that can be customized on Safety vests:

Material – are you looking for a mesh safety vest or a solid polyester safety vest…or perhaps a combination of both? We can make it happen. Some customers like a solid vest on the front to keep our dirt and keep your clothes clean while having a mesh back to let the cool are in and keep the wearer fresh.

Number of pockets – Pockets are great for holding tools, pens, and working materials. DO you want only inner pockets on your vests or outer pockets as well? How about a pocket for pens and writing materials or a mic-tab pocket to hold your walkie-talkie or microphone?

Location of pockets – many pockets are located on the front of the vest, but did you know you can also put pockets on the inside of the vest or back of the vest? You can also put pockets on the chest area, both inner and outer, of the vest.

Badge ID – we can put a clear pocket on the front of the vest so that you can put inserts in the vest with a name, company badge, etc., so it can be easily seen.

Closure’s on pockets – most safety vests have open pockets, so items are easy to get in and out. However, this can create a hazard if you have a job where you have items that don’t tend to stay in pockets or can fall out. We can customized the vest with zipper or Velcro closures on the vests to keep the items in your pockets in the pockets.

Front Closure – safety vests have 2 kinds of front closure. A zipper closure as well as a Velcro closure. You can choose which type of closure would be easiest for your opportunity.

5 Point Breakaway Vest – many industries require breakaway safety vests. These vests are used in applications where the person using the vest has a hazard that may cause their vest to get latched onto something – such as a machine, car, equipment, passing automobiles. If the vest is a breakaway vest, the vest will automatically come apart and the users will be unharmed.

Customized Logo – Custom Safety Vests with Logos show people around you who is working on the job site and the pride you take in the safety of your employees. You can choose to place the logo in any one of 3 places on a vest: the front chest, the upper back or lower back. If you have a vest with sleeves you can also put the logo on the sleeve on the safety vest.

Reflectors – standard safety vests have 2.5” of reflective striping on them, but you can also put a band of reflective color outside of the 2.5” stripe to add even more ability to be seen. By adding this additional striping, the 2.5” reflective material can now be 4.5” wide providing more visibility working on the job.

Sizing of safety vests – We can create safety vests with adjustable tabs on the size making them a true one size fits all safety vest.
