Best Gloves for Oil and Gas Delivery
Best Gloves for Oil Delivery
Petroleum resistant gloves make the best oil and gas safety gloves
Delivering oil can be a tough job and very difficult on your hands. Finding gloves that are perfect for oil delivery is even harder. Whether they are orange pvc or nitrile gas gloves most start to wear away quickly in the area between the finger and thumb or don’t stand up to the chemicals they are being used with.
Drivers are constantly taking on and off their oil resistant work gloves throughout a day of deliveries. The ease of getting your hands in and out of your glove is key to making the long winter days seem shorter. All of our oil-resistant work gloves come with an open safety cuff or a 12” length cuff, making them a breeze when making your stops all day.
The other factor to think about when dealing with Oil and Gas Safety Supplies is the outside temperature. Our oil and gas delivery gloves come in both a jersey lining and a foam lining. The jersey lining is great for the time of year when it isn’t that cold out, yet you still want to be protected. The foam lined gloves will help protect your hands from both the oil and the cold, making them insulated.
The coating on the outside of the glove also plays a big factor. Coatings for oil resistant gloves come in 3 styles:
First PVC, which offers good abrasion resistance, but may be susceptible to punctures, cuts and snags. It is a flexible with a thick coating on the gloves. PVC work gloves work well when dealing with oil and has great gripping attributes.
