Oil only pads, rolls and socks selectively absorb oil, not water

These oil only pads and rolls are selective in what they absorb and will only soak up hydrocarbon based fluids. They will not absorb water, never wasting absorbency. Even if these pads are being used outside and it happens to rain, the rain water will wash over and around the pad only soaking up diesel, gas, petroleum and fuel that happen to be in the runoff.

Our bestselling absorbents are individual pads sold in bundles. These bundles can range from 100 to 200 pads per pack. To ensure maximum efficiency is used, we designed packs that work best for smaller spills & leaks like a boat engine or working in an at home garage. In areas that have the potential for larger spills, such as machine rooms or manufacturing plants, we suggest the A100WSMH. Ideal for our most economical customers, the A200WSMS has 200 individual pads and will absorb 28.8 gallons! When keeping tool boxes or work benches clean, we recommend using the A100WSMS. This pad has a perforation down the middle allowing the user to only use what is needed. When dealing with retention ponds or basins, bundles of pads work best as they float on top of the water.

Individual absorbent pads are great, but for applications where you need to cover the length of a machine or long work area, absorbent rolls work best! All of our rolls our perforated and dimpled allowing you to only use what is necessary. These rolls come in a variety of lengths and widths so no matter the job, we have you covered. Rolls that are 30” wide are best for work areas where employees use them as a floor covering. Made with extra durability these rolls don’t tear or rip when walked on. The bestselling roll is our 15”X150’ because they come two per pack and have the versatility to be used in a variety of ways.

When hydraulic connections leak or fail completely, absorbent socks and booms are necessary. These socks and booms will surround the leaking fluid preventing it from seeping into walkways, down drains or making for slick walkways. Our bestselling absorbent sock is the 8’ sock because it will provide complete protection around any size spill. If you want to surround machinery, fixtures and work areas we recommend the 4’ sock. These socks are small enough to wrap around the base of machines without causing a hazard to your employees. If a hose breaks while dealing with heavy machinery on a construction site, it is always best to have a spill kit handy. Our bestselling spill kit is our trucker spill kit. These kits are designed to fit underneath the passenger seat of trucks or in tight compartments on a municipality vehicle.

The main difference between an absorbent boom and sock is that absorbent booms can be linked together. Booms have links on either side to connect one another. Our best selling boom is 5’ in diameter and 20’ in length because the diameter keeps most spills contained all while providing enough length. However, we recommend our airport customers purchase the 8” diameter boom because their fueling much higher volumes on a regular basis. These booms are also great surrounding retention ponds and basins to help prevent oil runoff.
